1 day before the wedding !! (13 febr)
The couple struggled to eat through their breakfast (little nervous? Although they deny themselves). At 10 o'clock we were at the place where tomorrow the wedding will take place. The nine couples were introduced and practiced the ceremonies. The wedding will be shown at all Thai TV channels (breaking news!). The wedding starts early (06:30), first outside with a procession in which the monks will not be missing. The second part can be found inside (on the 17th floor), the governor of Bangkok will execute the wedding. Because Robin, Carla and Sjaak play a role in the ceremonies, it's still a question if we can take pictures. It will be a short night because the couple must be present at 04:00 for the make-up, hair, and other things. It was very nice (and useful) to attend the rehearsal.
Het aanstaande bruidspaar had moeite het ontbijt weg te werken (toch beetje spanning ? alhoewel ze het zelf ontkennen). Om 10 uur waren we op de locatie waar morgen de grote dag zal plaatsvinden. De negen koppels kregen uitleg en oefenden de ceremonies. Het huwelijk zal echt op alle Thaise TV zenders te volgen zijn (breaking news!). Het huwelijk begint al vroeg (06:30), eerst buiten met een optocht waarbij de monniken niet zullen ontbreken. Het tweede deel vind binnen plaats (op de 17e etage) waar de gouverneur van Bangkok het huwelijk zal voltrekken. Omdat ook Robin, Carla en Sjaak een rol in de ceremonies spelen, is het nog maar de vraag of we foto's kunnen maken. Het zal een korte avond worden want het aanstaande bruidspaar moet al om 04:00 aanwezig zijn voor de makeup, kapper e.d. Het was erg leuk (en nuttig) om de repetitie bij te wonen.

Ik blijf het een vreemd idee vinden dat jullie gaan trouwen en wij er gewoon niet bij zijn! Had ik meteen dat foto probleem op kunnen lossen ;) In ieder geval een prachtige dag vandaag gewenst!!!
